This project involves the fit out of approximately 35,000 square feet of office space. Scoular Consulting has been hired to be the client rep and will work with the consultants, contractors and suppliers to ensure that the space fits the needs and wants of this evolving company.


Methanex

nov 2018 - may 2020

This project was a full renovation of existing 2 floors of office space (approx.. 36,000 SF).  Required the temporary move out of all staff to a temporary location and then design, construction and move back.  Scoular Consulting was the client rep and responsible for managing consultants, construction manager, suppliers and movers. 


Metro Vancouver

FEBRUARY 2016 - February 2018

Project involves the move management of approximately 1000 employees from two locations to one new location.   Scoular Consulting is also responsible for all the furniture, fixture and equipment coordination.  This involves approximately 416,000 square feet over 16 floors.


Stantec - Environmental Division Relocation

FEBRUARY 2014 - JULY 2014

Project involved the relocation of approx. 200 staff from an existing location to the new Metrotower III.  This move involved working with staff in meetings, producing move plans, guidelines, welcome sheets and procedures for the move.  Also involved was the set up and relocation of a warehouse space.  This space had specialized equipment and content that had to be coordinated separately from the staff moves.  Finally, Scoular Consulting was responsible for the decommission of the existing spaces to hand back to the landlord.  


SNC Lavalin Relocation Project

MARCH 2015 - DECEMBER 2015

Project involved the relocation of approx. 650 staff from various downtown locations to the new Bentall Tower at 745 Thurlow.  The move involved working with staff to manage the change, producing move plans, guidelines, welcome sheets and procedures for the move.  SCI was responsible for the RFP for the physical movers and the coordination of the successful bidder for all moves and decommission work.

September 2015 – February 2017

Project involved a storage audit of all the firm’s files to then develop a strategy to reduce their overall storage needs prior to moving.  Scoular Consulting is still working with the firm to reduce their files prior to moving.


Tesla Motors

June 2016 – june 2017

Project involved setting up a small Vancouver office.  Approximately 5000 square feet, Scoular Consulting was responsible for coordination of painting, furniture installations, IT setups and procurement and set up of all office supplies.

BC Hydro - FVO Project 

January 2015 - December 2015

Project involved the renovation of one of BC Hydro’s critical asset locations.  Work involved managing all consultants (architectural, mechanical, electrical) construction trades, attending all site meetings, manage IT requirements, security requirements and staff change management.  This site had the added complexity of being a critical asset site and required extensive security measures.  Scoular Consulting’s responsibility was to make sure the construction was completed on time and budget and that the 24 hour critical function of the site was never compromised.   The renovation involved about 4000 m2 and affected approximately 400 staff.
